Well, it would run NetBSD, just not use the wireless card :)

Dell usually offer a range of mini-pci wireless cards, including their
own-badged ones with a mix of chipsets i can never keep track of, and
the intel 'centrino' 2200 and 2915 iwi(4) cards.
