I see. I thought you meant disabling in the NetBSD kernel. I will
have to check if my machine, an old Siemens-Nixdorf PC, offers such
a BIOS option.
On the other hand there probably is a reason why Linux is featuring a
specific RZ1000 workaround code for years already... :-(
