Hum - I've a disk with many netbsd MBR partitions, several of which
are bootable.

The kernel will write the same netbsd disklabel into every type 169
mbr partition - ie the label describes the disk, but is saved at the
start of each partition.

You can use the netbsd mbr bootselect code to boot any of the mbr
partitions, and the system will (try to) make that the root filesystem.

Provided the bios supports LBA reads, you can even boot from an
extended partition.

sysinst will even let you install such a system.
