Thanks David (and Jukka for similar suggestions).
I _think_ I had lost the disklabel as well, and could neither
mount or refer to /dev/rwd0a. Is this all contained within one
512-byte sector ? Anyway I am busy re-installing from a local
mirror and hadn't customised much yet.
