NetBSD works perfect for us on the following hardware:

All boards have 10/100MBit Ethernet and USB. There are no on-board WLAN
but i believe you can find external WLAN cards in PC104 format.
My personal choice is Arbor Em104-m513.
ps: From my experience, NetBSD works very well on about any small size
x86 based embedded board with [relatively] limited resources. Probably
ARM too but it's another question (you need BSP).
