I've been running RC4 for over 3 weeks, without a single crash.  The
machine is primarily used for Java development, but I'm also running
Apache/PHP and a few network services.  Of course, this is using the
generic kernel.  I'm also using the latest KDE and Gnome, without a
hitch.  I'm also running the CVS version of gimp.  I have to say I'm
very impressed by the stability.  I don't know why some people might
be having trouble.

Then again, I'm running this on a brand new Dell system, so the
hardware is pretty new.
