I've been thinking of ripping the innards out of an old Thinkpad and =
hooking
up the 'mouse', keyboard and screen with inputs. Ideal for plugging into =
the
odd server?

You know who you are, and why. :)

If you _really_ like the thinkpad keyboard you may be
interested to know that IBM produce a standalone USB keyboard
which matches the thinkpad form factor exactly - including
the ultranav glide+touchpoint, volume buttons and 'Access
IBM' key. It also has two USB ports in the back.

It looks all the world like someone tore the screen from
a T41. Its obviously much lighter and the plastic of they
keys makes a slightly different sound, but the travel and
 	feel is still good.

Works wonderfully under NetBSD, and the extra keys can be
 	mapped with usbhidaction.

The part number in the UK was 31P9493 (that gave me a UK
keyboard layout, I don't know about other regions).

Its not cheap, and to most people will probably irrelevant,
but I know there will be a few others out there who will
be unable to live without one now they know :)
