The PPP connection will try to establish all known to the kernel protocols
automatically. So if your kernel has options INET6 you will get a IPv6
connection, if the peer supports that. No need to configure anything
locally. The same goes for IPv4 (with options INET), but I guess that's
a typo in your question and you meant IPv6.
