I have had core files before, but I don't keep 768 MB files around unless
I need them..  I haven't had a crash for a long time (the bounds file may
be several years old :), that's why I'm worrying about this one.  I'll try
using acroread and see if I can reproduce the problem - but I started
acroread yesterday and it made the system panic today (it was running all
night), so I may not see another panic too soon.
