Hi.

I'm experiencing problems with my Toshiba Satellite 410CDT. The machine
reproducible freezes when sending something special over the network,
like telnet to a VMS host or doing "X -query <somehost>".
I think that it is not the DEPCM card, because I had the same problem
with a Lucent Orinoco Gold WLAN card.
I also tried playing with different kernel configs, like
PCIC_ISA_ALLOC_IOBASE, PCIC_ISA_ALLOC_IOSIZE and APM tweaks, with no
success.
When the machine freezes there is no console reaction, it does not reply
to ICMP pings etc.
Others also reported the same problem 6 weeks ago on this list.

I would really like to assist whomsoever to solve this problem, because
I don't want to install Linux :-)

Regards

Felix
