... but, even if they set full-duplex properly via ioctl AUDIO_SETFD, the
still get stuck at the line in pth_high.c, that I've mentioned in PR.

Please take a look at pth_high.c from devel/pth. 

Will the audio driver return the correct fd status for cards, that are in
full-duplex mode?
