Dear NetBSD,

The KDE Desktop is fried on my NetBSD v1.6.1 server since I tried to upgrade
to the latest version from KDE version 3. I tried to compile kdebase, but, it
fails because it can't find the qt3 that I compiled. Since I don't know
how the
CVS stuff works, that is of no use to me. It is too complicated for me at this
early stage in my endeavors with NetBSD. Yes, I do know how to add and
delete packages, but, I don't have a clue how to take omeone's C source and
create a package from it after compiling. I guess the bottom line to this is:
will there ever be a kdebase-3.0.5.1nb3 for i386? That package exists for many
other platforms except i386. And to make things worse I am stuck using
windows to browse and send e-mail. :^(

Thanks for any input,
