There is a bug there but in general this is cleaning up data structures that
can't exist until an actual attach happens.

You don't want it to at this stage. Drives can be plugged into multiple hosts
and simply probing them on the box shouldn't cause a login. On first access
to the drive (usually the scsi probes) it'll log into the drive.
