This is wrong: at runtime the library may be at different place than at
link time.
See how the package system uses this for example: the linker command line
looks like:
gcc -o ... -Lpath_to_the_buildlink_dir/lib -Wl,-R/usr/X11R6/lib -Wl,-R/usr/pkg/bin
