Hello everybody,

Some time ago I tried to install NetBSD 1.6. Because this didn't worked on
an old IBM PS/2 57 SX with a MCA bus and 8 MB RAM, I tried it again with
NetBSD 1.6.1

While the bootdisk is loading I see the following messages appear
"warning: no /dev/console
init: Creating mfs /dev
dd: not found"

but the installation continues and I get to see the installation menu later
on.

When I choose the option "Install NetBSD to hard disk," I get the message:
"I can not find any hard disks for use by NetBSD. You will be returned to
the original menu.", but there are 2 SCSI-disks in the computer.

Can somebody tell me what I can do to fix this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Bert Rodiers
