I'm also trying to get Wake-on-lan working on a GX260 (see my previous message
about GX240) which has an Intel i82540EM.
This one I can get to work _provided_ the machine has been powered down via
"halt -p" (with APM in the kernel) but my problem here is that every second
time I try it the "halt -p" fails with:
APM set power state <2ff,3>: unrecognised device ID (0x907)
APM set power state <1,3>: 32-bit interface already connected (0x753)
WARNING: powerdown failed!
Can anyone tell me what this means? Note that the "unrecognised device ID"
line also appears on the times it successfully powers down.
cheers
