Howdy,

I've installed vmware3 on my NetBSD 1.6P box, but, after configuring a FreeBSD guest, it complains with this message:

Mar 18 09:59:10: VMX|[msg.hostlinux.opencpuinfo] Could not open /proc/cpuinfo

I've added the relevant entries to rc.conf and copied the scripts to /etc/rc.d. What's the voodoo magic needed for this to work? Would version 2 work better? All I need is FreeBSD as guest, I could do with 2. Anyone else has experience with this? Btw, this box has an SMP kernel if that makes a difference.

Cheers,

        Of course it runs NetBSD!
