As I said, I seem to remember, it's a feature. If you review the cvs
history, bugs, and the mailing lists, I bet you'll find that ps'
paging in all processes just to get their start times was a source of
great annoyance.

The command line switch idea *may* have some merit. You might want to
broach the subject on tech-userlevel.
