There are pre-built binaries for each NetBSD version, as well as for each =
architecture in the packages collection available at ftp.netbsd.org and =
mirrors.

I am upgrading from 1.5.2 to 1.6.  Can I install 1.5.2 built binaries of =
packages on a 1.6 system?  I would think so, but I wonder why the =
per-version segregation exists.
