bat/common.h is indeed from bsd-airtools (dstumbler, dwepcrack) from
dachb0den labs; when installing those tools you have to put
bat/common.h in /usr/include.

On the 1.6 branch, tagged as the release, the version of that file is
1.72.4.1. It does not contain bat/common.h and line 96 is
#if NBPFILTER > 0

Are you sure you didn't apply the dstumbler patches?  I suggest
retrieving that file again and comparing it with your local copy.
