I turned on the options to allow Really Verbose messages upon bootup, as
I wanted to see what sort of stuff my laptop was reporting.

As soon as the machine came up, I wanted to do:

$ dmesg > dmesg.out

and then look at the output file, but it's clear that I'm missing some
amount of earlier stuff.

What do I need to do to enlarge the dmesg buffer?
