Yes, i kinda thought I'd have to build a new kernel. No Linux systems in
my organization, FreeBSD and OpenBSD, oh and Solaris. Sounds like my best
option would be to setup NetBSD on something else and then build a new
kernel.
I was hoping maybe someone had a kernel "lying around" with pciide
disabled. :-) As many problems as I've seen with pciide not working
correctly on i386 systems.
