FWIW, I found the white-on-blue display unpleasant as well.  And it was
thoroughly unpleasant to see the blue/black mixed scrolling while
unpacking files.  (Though the fact that the screen mostly went to black
was a small plus; it is *much* easier on the eyes.  (^&)

That sysinst didn't get it right is testimony that it is added
complication to make this change.  I am unable to see how it makes NetBSD
better (even allowing that aesthetics are largely a matter of taste).
