There is no Solaris 9 download for i386. Current plans say that Sun will
supply Solaris 9 for their proprietary Sun LX-50 i386 server.

There is free download of Solaris 9 for sparc.

Solaris 8 for Intel and sparc is $20 for download and $50 for media kit.
