Dear NetBSD,

Has anyone had any experiences trying to get the Iomega Jaz drive working
with v1.5.2? I have and it's strange because when I use it with my Gigabyte
mainboard with its lonely ISA slot (one only that is) it works just fine.
The SCSI card says that it's an AHA-1535 controller, but, NetBSD sees it as
an AHA-1524CP which I think is acceptable.

Here's the klincher. When I try to get the card to work in my friend's NetBSD
v1.5.2 system with its EPOX EP-MVP3C motherboard, there are no combinations
of the DIP switch on the card whereby I can get it to work. I even tried the
GENERIC kernel, but, to no avail. I have included two different dmesg
outputs. One for the dip switches set as Plug n' Play and the other file to
reflect the non-Plug n' Play setting. I am beginning to think that either
the Epox EP-MVP3C has a brain dead BIOS or that something is broken in
the ISA support for the AHA-1524 SCSI. With the DIP set in a way that NetBSD
sees the card as aha0 and the scsibus0 it just hangs waiting and the only way
out is by resetting the CPU.

Should I have sent the output of dmesg when the Jaz drive
is working fine on my system?

Any help is as always, greatly appreciated.
