i use:
#MAKEDEV tty04
#
and i create a tty04 device for my modem setup
(ls command  shows that is now there)
but when i try to use it with:
#cu -p modem

system complaints saying that:
Device Not Configured.

(of course i put the apropiate /dev/tty04
on /etc/uucp/port file).

howto configure devices on /dev/  ??
where can i go to study some docs about this?
