Great stuff! I am very happy to hear this. :-)
Any ideas what IEEE1394/FireWire chipsets (for controllers, scsi,
ethernet, etc.) will be supported when it is checked into the
tree? Will the NetBSD supported chipsets be similar to those
currented supported by Linux?
I plan to return to Japan in the near future and wish to buy some
IEEE1394 devices when I get there for my NetBSD notebooks.
BTW, I did not know that ethernet over IEEE1394/FireWire devices
existed. Neat stuff, are they anything like the USB ethernet
interfaces commonly used?
Congrats to the people working on this, it is greatly appreciated.
Alicia.
