Hmm .. with 8MB RAM NetBSD runs OK, I wouldn't say 'fine'. At least on
my 386 25MHz machine. Custom kernel with everything stripped but the
bare necesities (such as IPv6 ;). The best part was the boot after the
initial install. I thought it had gone horribly wrong because it
didn't reply to pings. I searched high and low for a monitor to
connect to the box, after about an hour I found one. Hooked it up and
it was still generating SSH keys ;P

It does make a nice DHCP & DNS server though ;)
