I already seen some mailabout the release of 1.5.3, but each time it says
within a couple of weeks. Is there any info on this release ?

and 1.5.2 works really good and super stable.

if you like to have new versions every month consider installing linux :)

1.6 will be released when NetBSD team will think it's REALLY stable. not
faster.
