Sure, check out the man pages for pppd(8), cu(1) and tip(1) for
the most common ways to actually use the serial ports.  For a quick
description of the com driver check out com(4).  Also have a look
at http://www.netbsd.org/Documentation/network/#ppp for a short
description of how to set up PPP over a modem.
