I know that 1.5.2 doesn't but does NetBSD current support the Promise
controller listed in the subject line, also known as the PDC20268? FreeBSD
4.5 and OpenBSD current supports this card but I would prefer to get NetBSD
up and running.

Also, a side question not specific to X86: I noticed through trying to
compile Lame that NetBSD currently has a somewhat older version of GCC. Will
this be upgraded in 1.5.3 or will that happen later on?
