Build of a current distribution using the source tree from
10-Feb-02 fails in /usr/src/gnu/dist/texinfo with the following error
messages:

The UPDATE file didn't reveal anything that helped me to proceed
beyond this point. I've no clue what happens here other that these
declarations seem to be missing.
