Did you try pulling out all the non essential
hardware, and especially that token ring card? Pulling
out all non essential hardware is usually the first
step...
I had an IBM ISA token ring card that gave me some
problems, but I submitted a bug report and it worked
real nice after it was fixed. I think token ring
support is a bit dodgy otherwise though...
