My PC is running on Windows 98. I downloaded NetBSD-1.5 to its =
c:/NetBSD directory. I made 2 boot disks from it and partitioned a part =
of my single hard disk as NetBSD file system. I could not proceed =
further for the second part of the installation process. Although I =
opted for "Installation From An Unmounted File System". After entering =
"wd0" as device, "msdos" as the file system and "netbsd/binary/sets" as =
directory, I got the message "netbsd/binary/sets could not be mounted on =
local device wd0". Then I tried with "utility menu" of the NetBSD-1.5 =
Install System. Using "disklabel wd0" I did not get my msdos partition =
listed. I tried with "mbrlabel wd0" and then "disklabel wd0" - this did =
not help either. I also tried with "disklabel -e wd0" but this did not =
open up the editor. Could somebody help me find the way how the =
required .tgz files in my "c:\netbsd\binary\sets" directory of windows =
or msdos partition can be accessed when I require them for the =
installation of the NetBSD in the NetBSD partition of the same hard =
disk? I will appreciate this very much.

Best regards,

Masud Salahuddin
