Could you test booting with only 'sd0' attached?  Or with only the second
drive.  It would be interesting to find out if the issue is related to one
of the SCSI targets rather than the controller or system.  If you can get
NetBSD installed with one drive unhooked, you should be able to build a
kernel with more detailed debugging enabled.

I would also recommend booting one of the -current snapshot kernels to see
if the issue still exists.
