Maybe I should tell what the error message is:

There was some error setting up inter-process
communications for KDE. The message returned
     by the system was:

Could not read network connection list.
     /home/jens/.DCOPserver_heather_:0

Please check that the "dcopserver" program is running!

When I login on KDE as root, logout without reboot, and then login as user it
works. After rebooting it fails again for the normal user.

I checked the umask for root: it is 22. The permissions on
/usr/X11R6/bin/dcopserver and the path seems to be pretty much okay.

I guess it makes no difference in which order I add users or add KDE package?
