Yes. I had both of them partially working before I ditched my i386 laptop,
and I just got a new one. The Linksys (WPC-11, or something similar)
worked fine out of the box. I was never able to get an ad-hoc network to
work, and haven't tried recently; eventually, I want these working well
enough that I can use NetBSD to replace a crappy base station.
I have about five of these cards, including Symbol and SMC versions, and
I hope to test them all, and submit needed patches, the next time I have
free time. Feedback or advice welcome, or I can putter around and see what
I can break.
