So I just tried booting the 1.5X snapshot's LAPTOP_GENERIC kernel on my
Toshiba Libretto L2 in the hope of getting cardbus support, and didn't
get very far. Even before printing the copyright notice, the kernel
starts with:

WARNING: memory map entry overlaps with ``Compatability holes'': 0xeee00/0x200/0x4

The kernel is:

    NetBSD 1.5X (GENERIC_LAPTOP) #0: Wed Jul 25 14:36:05 PDT 2001
	matt@i8000.local:/u1/kobj/GENERIC_LAPTOP

It then probes the CPU and memory, and immediately after the buffers
usage line prints:

    BIOS32 rev. 0 found at 0xfb5bb
PCI BIOS rev. 2.1 found at 0xfcd73
pcibios: config mechanism [1][x], special cycles [x][x], last bus 1
    uvm_fault(0xc0602400, 0x2000, 0, 1) -> e
    kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped in pid 0 (swapper) at 0xc06fbe8b: cmpb %cs: 0x2db4(%si),%al
    db> trace
    end(c061de08,c069adec,c069adb8, 0, 0) at 0xc06fbe8b
    db>

Any thoughts? I'm still in the midst of getting the sources on to this
machine, but I'll be able to build new -current kernels quite soon.
