I've seen similar messages on my Thinkpad T21, but they occur if, say,
I remove the PCMCIA card while the machine is suspended, or if I remove
a card at an inappropriate time. The rules are that (a) never remove
a card that is open (or ifconfig'ed UP, for a network card), and (b)
make sure the status at resume time is the same as at suspend time,
i.e., have the same cards in the same slots.
