In the future, here are two ways to troubleshoot this:

1) # find / -name "*libXpm*"
2) pkg_info -v | grep -i xpm

But like Manuel said, go grab the XPM package and you should be set.  If
you use pkgsrc, it will resolve all these dependencies for you.
