For anyone interested, I've booted NetBSD on the Soekris Engineering
net4501 SBC.

IMHO it is a very nice little package. The fact that is has integrated
serial console support, CompactFlash slot, and three 10/100 ports is
pretty cool.

Here is the original DaemonNews article:
http://daily.daemonnews.org/view_story.php3?story_id=2117

And a link to the Soekris Engineering page:
http://www.soekris.com/

I'm booting from a 16MB CF since PXE doesn't work yet. I had to
create a custom biosboot_ser.sym with the baud rate set to 19200, but
other than that it was a simple matter of setting up the CF with a
kernel that mounts root on NFS.

I hope to get a minimal firewall running on my 16MB card, but for now I'm
playing with diskless.

PS. Here's dmesg(8) output: (GENERIC boots fine also!)
