Hi all!

I'm using a netbsd machine as file server via NFS.

The storage is a 4 IDE disks raid5(RaidFrame) array FFS formatted +
SOFTDEP,the performance according to bonnie is 3,5MB/s write and 17MB/s
read.

Now,when i mount this FS via NFS i got a dramatic loss of performance
(About 50% on write),but if i mount NFS with -async option i got the
full speed.
i m wonder if could be dangerous leave this option on all NFS mount and
if is,how can i obtain the same performance in a safer way?

Thanks!
