Don't forget to MAKEDEV!  You probably won't even be able to get to
single user mode without it...

Other things that sysinst does, such as setting the root password or
modifying rc.conf, are optional.  In fact, having sysinst change rc.conf
really annoys me, because it prevents me from getting a snapshot of the
original to use for later diffs (e.g. against a 'make distribution'
later on...)

Still, I really like using sysinst to set up my partitions, and it
would be nice if things like the 'start at end of partition x'/'end at
start of partition x' and not just rounding but also viewing as
sectors/cylinders/megabytes could be incorporated into (at least)
disklabel's interactive mode.
