I successfully installed NetBSD 1.5.1 on my Toshiba T4800CT laptop.

My 3c589 NIC didn't work until I manually set pcic_isa_alloc_iobase and
pcic_isa_alloc_iosize.  I just used the values mentioned in INSTALL.txt.

The drive geometry is hard-coded into the laptop's BIOS.  I upgraded to
a larger drive and NetBSD automatically picked the right default values
when I manually specified the geometry.  (thanks NetBSD!)

Toshiba laptops are a heck of a lot easier to get into and upgrade than
the Apple laptops I have seen.
