Guys - is there some way bad144 can be
executed during initial system build? 

Presumably one would have to shell out
of the install process before (after?)
specifying disk partitions, and run it
from a floppy.

This would have been useful a couple of
days back when I encountered a disk with
bad blocks.  It can be done with Red Hat ..
