Hi all,

I've installed XFree86 3 from the dist tgz files. XFree86 runs perfectly
with the GENERIC kernel, but I've compiled a kernel for myself and now
X is not working. I can't figure out which setting did I miss.

When the X server starts, it complains about all the font paths and then
'Connection to server lost 0.0' or something like this... no error
messages.

Any idea of what I'm missing?
