Is this an ISA card?  If so, try tweaking the values on the "nele" card -
that worked for the integrated chips on my Cubix machine.  For example, my
card has irq 9, drq 5, io 0x300 (IIRC), so I changed:

nele0 at isa? port 0x320 irq 9 drq 7

to:

nele0 at isa? port 0x300 irq 9 drq 5

That worked like a charm for me.  I had to dig through the system manual
to get the params, tho... but you're on your own for that ;-)
