I've collected the source patch to be applied to get the cs4281
driver pull-up applied; it's in

   ftp://albatross.runit.no/pub/cs4281.diff

This could be useful if you need a kernel with special compile
options in addition to what GENERIC / GENERIC_LAPTOP will give
you.
