No, the airport cards are (as far as I know) specially made for newer
macs. They don't have any antenna (it built into the machine), and
they are weird in many other ways. It might be possible to get the
wi-driver to work with them, but it might not be easy, and likely very
ugly.

Get a Lucent card, they need the money! :-)
