I found flash disks in 3,5 and 2,5" cases with about 800MB for
about GBP 2.000,-- I guess the powersaving/heat compared to
conventional disks will justify the price, for embedded systems
these parts could make a sense in a sealed, water- and
whatelseproof case.
They are also available as ISA cards where 64MB will cost less
than USD 100,-- IIRC.
